Letting Your Feelings Out Gives You Freedom

Let your feelings come out and move over you like the breeze of the ocean wind. Your feelings are here to help you move on. Don’t stay in your head of bad thoughts. Recognize these thoughts gaining real estate space in your head, and practice releasing them from your mind, and walking them to safety.

Your feelings from a past upset are for you to view, accept the lesson to learn, and then let them drift off. At that point, act like a young person with a kite string in their hand. Keep your thoughts on the moment in front of you. Focus on the wind speed and it’s feeling on your face. Concentrate on the beauty of the soar.

Practice feeling the thoughts you’re not fond of, releasing them, and venturing off to do something you like. Think about baking banana bread for a friend, ride your motorcycle and let the wind blow through your body, finish a crossword puzzle or start a jigsaw puzzle of a scene that sparks a smile in you. Even let the nerd in you come out and get back to doing that math problem of the day again. Most of all breathe in and out welcoming only positive thoughts and releasing any negative ones.

Remember, you’re not here to live in negativity and relive the sad moments of your past. Look in front of you. God has a whole world full of fabulous things for you to see. Go see his work.
